it was a little shabby and the room was somewhat unclean. Not as bad as I heard in some reviews on other sites, but the bathroom could use some renovation. the "exercise room" consisted of 2 small weight machines, some dumbbells, and 3 cardio machines that were all out of service. An employee walked in to my room unannounced while I was in the bathroom. This was minutes after I checked in, and he had been told to go to the wrong room, but it was still an unacceptable disruption. Not the biggest deal, but those had to be the slowest elevators (lifts) I have ever encountered. I waited 5 minutes in the lobby once for these super slow relics (I had several bags preventing me from taking the stairs). Not a bad hotel overall, because I am not that picky; give me a clean and safe room and I am ok. My biggest complaint is that it was nowhere near a value for the price. I stayed there for a convention at the suggestion of the coordinators. I should have stayed at one of many nearby hotels that were significantly cheaper, but I didn't know the area.
